Nutrition Site Visit at Bazia Jadid Village

Our South Sudan team recently completed a nutrition site visit at the Bazia Jadid village in Western Bahr El Ghazal State. The visit included conducting MUAC (Mid-Upper Arm Circumference) screening for malnourished children, pregnant women, and lactating women in Bazia Jadid.

It serves as early detection of malnutrition for children, pregnant and lactating women. Depending upon the results, they can be referred to health facility centers. Additionally, team members counsel and educate individuals on the prevention of malnutrition to improve hygiene, health, and well-being in the community.

We are so grateful for our supporters and our fantastic team that makes conducting these life-changing projects possible. Thank you for watering the seeds of change in South Sudan!
