Amazing Kids Feature: Pippa
Inspired by Linda Sue Park’s book Nya’s Long Walk: A Step at a Time, six-year-old Pippa spent weeks at the end of her family’s driveway to raise money for Water for South Sudan.

In 2021 when I received the jaw-dropping news that Carlsbad Seaside Academy (CSA) had won the Iron Giraffe Challenge, I was so overcome with joy that I couldn’t speak. Once I got over the shock that Salva was coming to Carlsbad, California, Salva’s team and I started planning the two-day event blitz.

Our Trip to South Sudan
After a long two years, Executive Director Lynn Malooly and Operations Support Coordinator Gary Prok flew to South Sudan to visit the team in June.
